Hyderabad: A bus driver avoided an accident by stopping the vehicle just before his death due to a seizure on Friday. The driver, Shaik Ahmed Rasool, 61, a retired RTC driver, was taking students to college when he started feeling uneasy and halted the bus near Narayanaguda flyover. A major mishap could have happened if the bus had not stopped at the end of the bridge as the signal was red at Bhanglingampally.
The bus was going to B.V. Raju Institute of Technology (BVRIT), carrying four girls. He collapsed and his nose started bleeding. He died within minutes. The driver was a temporary one.
“He never had any such attacks before, this is the first time he had one,” said inspector B. Raju.
