Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh police on Sunday tried to whisk away T. Lokeswara Reddy, who had lodged a police complaint about infotech company IT Grids Pvt Ltd, which reportedly stole confidential data of AP voters through its app, Sevamitra, to benefit the Telugu Desam.

Within minutes, they came inside and started abusing me. They asked why I had lodged a complaint and informed the Telangana police. “They were in my house for half an hour. I asked the Cyberabad police commissioner to provide me security as there is a threat to my life. “How can the AP government do such things? Are we living in a democracy?
