Hyderabad: JEE examinees find physics paper tough

Hyderabad: A number of students, who appeared for the JEE Main-2016 exam held on Sunday, found the physics paper tricky and challenging besides a shade tough compared to last year. However, the overall difficulty level for all papers put together was moderate. According to R L Trikha, Director, FIITJEE, the overall difficulty level was moderate.
“A student who has been focused and serious all through the two years and who prepared well must have done reasonably well. It is always relative performance, which matters in such highly competitive examinations,” he said.

A total of 90 questions, from physics, chemistry and mathematics carrying 360 marks had to be answered in three hours with negative marking for wrong answers.
Meanwhile, parents and students were not happy with the centre allotment. A student from Patancheru was allotted centre in DAV Safilguda, while another from Kacheguda wrote the exam in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, BHEL.
