GHMC inducts parking policy in MyGHMC App
He also instructed the deputation of one person each for enforcement in all major shopping malls across the city.
Hyderabad: Even as citizens are finding the new parking policy confusing, the GHMC has taken a step to resolve this and has inducted the policy in the MYGHMC App. This way, the citizens can register their grievance in any case of violation. Corporation officials claimed that even after conducting extensive campaigns, some shopping malls and other commercial establishments were collecting fees for the first half an hour which has now been declared free.
Citing this, the GHMC officials have decided to make a provision in MYGHMC App and facilitate citizens where they can register their grievance.
The corporation has urged citizens to dial 100 in case of any violation. The GHMC commissioner B. Janardhan Reddy earlier instructed all Deputy Commissioners to paste copies of GO 63 of March 20, 2018, at all shopping malls and multiplexes to raise awareness among people and ensure that the owners of commercial establishments take cognisance of the matter.
He also instructed the deputation of one person each for enforcement in all major shopping malls across the city. The Commissioner has asked citizens to dial 100 in case of any violation and have also requested traffic police to cooperate in the matter.
While many commercial establishments implemented the policy from Sunday, complaints were also received about malls that were not following the diktat.
