Hyderabad: In a setback to TV9 former CEO V. Ravi Prakash, the Supreme Court disposed of his special leave petition appealing against the rejection of his plea for anticipatory bail in the cases accusing him of forgery and cheating.
The apex court directed him to comply with the notices that the police had issued under Section 41-A of the CrPC and appear before the Investigating officer and co-operate with the investigation.
The court reverted the anticipatory bail petition of Mr Prakash to the Telangana High Court and directed it to decide on the bail petitions afresh by June 10. The court set aside the earlier orders of the High Court, which had rejected the petitions on May 22.
