Bhutan being arm-twisted: Liu Jinsong

New Delhi: A senior Chinese diplomat lashed out at India on Thursday, implying that India was arm-twisting Bhutan, on the Doklam situation. Mr. Liu Jinsong, Deputy Chief of Mission said Bhutan had been put in a difficult spot by India. He claimed Bhutan had said they did not know about Indian troop movement in Bhutan whereas Indian Government sources said Indian troops were deployed in Doklam only after Bhutan approached India for help in the wake of the Chinese move to construct a road.
