BJP leader’s son found dead in United Kingdom
His parents had travelled to London four days back, and identified his body on Tuesday.
Khammam: Sanne Ujwal Sriharsha, the son of BJP district president Sanne Uday Prathap, was found dead at the foot of a cliff in East Sussex in England. Sriharsha had gone missing on August 21 and the Sussex police had launched a search for him on August 23 after they received a complaint.
Sriharsha’s body was found on Tuesday at a place called Beach Head at Eastbourne Beach on the south coast of England. His parents identified him by his wallet and dress.
Sriharshan, 23, was was pursuing his master’s programme in electronics engineering at the Queen Mary University of London and residing at Beamount House in Bayswater.
There was no contact with him from August 21 when he last spoke to his family, and Mr Prathap and his family members were trying to trace him. The matter was reported to the police two days later.
Police launched a search and found Sriharsha’s laptop and cellphone on the cliff. He had left a message requesting that they be handed over to his parents.
The area where he placed the laptop is said to be a suicide spot. The search lasted 14 days.

The post-mortem will be done on September 6 and the body handed later.
Hundreds of BJP activists have been visiting Mr Prathap’s house from August 23 to show him support.
