ISC 2017: Brahmand museum in Tirupati

Mr Naidu said the museum will have seven wonder spheres representing seven holy hills of Tirupati.

TIRUPATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday laid the foundation for ‘Brahmand’, a world class science museum.
Speaking at the 6th Women Science Congress, Mr Naidu said the museum will have seven wonder spheres representing seven holy hills of Tirupati.

“The spheres are dedicated to space technology, missile technology, marine life and agriculture sciences, archaeology, ancient sciences and science & technology. We are going to establish these seven spheres near the foothills of Lord Balaji,” he said.

He also called for ideas from the scientists for creating the  best museum in the world. It will also have the best exhibition and convention halls. The convention hall will have a seating capacity of 10,000.

The children can come and do scientific research for two, three months. “We want to create all facilities for scientists. The Centre has given the commitment to complete the museum in 30 months,” he said.
