INTUC national meet in Kochi on January 6, 7

The two-day meeting will discuss among others the new legislations in the country, law amendments and resolutions.

Kochi: The 295th national working committee meeting of INTUC will be held in Kochi on Saturday and Sunday. A total of 400 delegates from across the country will participate in the meeting, said INTUC state president R. Chandrasekharan at a press conference here on Thursday.

He said Kerala has become the host for the event after a gap of four years. Opposition Leader Ramesh Chennithala will inaugurate the working committee at 5 pm on Saturday at a function presided over by INTUC national president G. Sanjeeva Reddy.

The inaugural meeting will be attended by KPCC president M. M. Hassan, vice-president V. D. Satheesan, UDF convener P. P. Thankachan, AICC general secretary K. C. Venugopal, MPs Kodikkunnil Suresh and K. V. Thomas and Congress MLAs from Ernakulam district. The two-day meeting will discuss among others the new legislations in the country, law amendments and resolutions.
