Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh has a total electorate of 4.07 crore including general and service electors, as per the special summary revision of electoral rolls as on Jan. 1, 2022. This meant a net increase by 0.07 per cent, the addition being of 29,544 electors, as compared to the figures in the draft electoral rolls published under SSR, 2022.
A statement from chief electoral officer Vijayanand said here on Wednesday that the total number of general electors including overseas electors are 4,06,68,344. Of these, male are 2,00,68,986, female 2,05,95,287 and third gender4,071.
The total number of overseas electors are 7,033 including male 5,539, female1,492 and third gender 2. The total number of service voters are 67,935 including male 65,678 and female 2,257.
The total number of electors including overseas and service electors are 4,07,36,279 including male 2,01,34,664, female 2,05,97,544 and third gender 4,071.
The total number of electors in the age group of 18-19 are 2,07,893.
The total new electors added after the release of the draft roll to the finalization of the final roll under SSR 2022 are 1,69,916 while total number of electors deleted after the draft roll release are 1,40,372. With this, the net change of electors from draft roll to final roll 2022 was 29,544.
Electors from among the persons with disabilities are 5,30,511. The elector to population ratio is 743 while gender ratio is 1,026.
The total number of polling stations in the state are 45,950.
The district-wise total number of electors include Srikakulam 2,29,58,56; Vizianagaram 1,90,20,77; Visakhapatnam3,71,94,38; East Godavari 4,34,53,22; West Godavari 3,27,90,29; Krishna 3,65,69,65; Guntur 4,08,92,16; Prakasam 2,68,05,56; Nellore 2,46,39,60; Kadapa 2,29,39,44; Kurnool 3,36,44,68. Anantapur 3,34,88,41 and Chittoor 3,29,66,07.
