Special counselling for SVS students

The selection committee, Indian medicine and homoeopathy department has initiated the move.

CHENNAI: Students of S.V.S Yoga and Naturopathy Medical College, Kallakurichi, Villupuram district, have been directed to appear for special counselling in Chennai on  February 10 for re-admission at Government Yoga and Naturopathy Medical College here. Based on Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa’s direction, the selection committee, Indian medicine and homoeopathy department, has initiated the move. In a release, the committee said that students pursuing Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS), a medical degree in the field of integrated naturopathy and yoga therapy, are eligible to attend the special re-allotment counselling.

Eligible students are those who have joined and studying BNYS degree course at S.V.S Yoga and Naturopathy Medical College from the academic year 2008-09 to 2014-15 and registered their names with the Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R. Medical University, and continuing their studies. Students who have joined BNYS degree course for the academic year 2015-16 in the college as per the allotment order issued by the Selection Committee and based on the seat matrix  issued by Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R. Medical University, are also eligible to attend the counselling.

All the eligible candidates are directed to attend the special re-allotment counselling to be held at Selection Committee Office, Arignar Anna Government Hospital, Indian Medicine Campus, Arumbakkam, Chennai on February 10 at 10 am along with necessary documents.
