Hyderabad: 30th 'Road Safety Week' flagged off
Mr T Prasad administered an oath to follow traffic laws.
Hyderabad: The 30th Road Safety Week celebrations kicked off at the Rachakonda commissionarate on Monday with home minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali. The police organised a traffic awareness programme on the occasion at Saroornagar Indoor Stadium. DGP, Road Safety Authority, T. Krishna Prasad and other officials were present. Cine actor Kalyan Ram was a special chief guest.
Mr T Prasad administered an oath to follow traffic laws. He said several measures were being taken including rectification of faulty roads, identification of black spots, survey of bad roads with a view to rectifying them, besides creating awareness among the public about traffic and road safety rules.
A pictorial exhibition was inaugurated at the venue by Mr Mahmood Ali which attracted the participants.
