Machilipatnam port works to start February 7
Vedavyas said that about 4,000 acres of land pooled for the port has been handed over to the Navayuga Construction Company.

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation stone for the Machilipatnam Port, to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 12,000 crore on February 7.
According to Machilipatnam Urban Development Authority chairman Buragadda Vedavyas, once the work starts, Machilipatnam will transform into the second commercial business hub in the country and bring in many industries to the state due to its proximity to Amaravati.
Mr Vedavyas said that about 4,000 acres of land pooled for the port has been handed over to the Navayuga Construction Company.
