Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao will bring the Mutyala Talambralu to the wedding on behalf of the government.
The holy town wore a festive look as devotees flocked in for the celestial wedding. Hundreds of devotees viewed the ritual and a devotee from Hyderabad, Purnima, offered 500 grams pearls to the divine couple. Those who wanted to offer Srirama Deeksha reached Bhadrachalam and will begin deeksha on Sriramanavami Day. The 40-day deeksha will conclude on May 2.
About 67 closed circuit cameras were fixed at different locations, including Mithila Stadium, as part of the security arrangements. Edurkolu utsavam was held amidst fanfare on Tuesday.
