Vijayawada: US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on Wednesday conducted raids on fraudulent companies across the United States. USCIS site visits are aimed at detecting H-1B visa fraud, abuse.

It is learnt that a few companies, which are going to sign MoUs with the Andhra Pradesh government during Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s tour, were quizzed by USCIS authorities. Bank accounts of few companies were also seized and laptops/hard disks taken into USCIS custody.

The incident, which happened just a few hours before the Chief Minister’s tour, has created panic among the NRI community as these developments may affect his scheduled programme at Irving, near Dallas.

NRIs living in and around Dallas were extremely excited to receive Mr. Naidu, who is visiting Dallas almost after 10 years.

Kiran Tummala, another NRI residing near Dallas, stated: “An MoU with Kia Motors with an investment of Rs 11,000 crores, with a planned production start date is not fluke, given the options we have.”

According to Yellamanda Poonaaty’s observations, AP should be number one on the positive side, not on the negative side. “Let labour be liberated from the addiction of liquor ruining their health and families,” he felt.

Mr K.C.Chekuri, another active netizen, said Mr Naidu’s visit to Dallas, stating that he would be able to tell future generations that one person was able to stand alone and make a difference to the lives of people and he (Chekuri) witnessed Mr. Naidu in action.

“There were times when I didn’t like you as I do today. You have earned not only my respect and admiration but that of millions of minds longing for development and good governance,” MR. Chekuri observed in a post on Facebook.
