Hyderabad's Qutbullahpur roads trend on twitter

Hyderabad: An online twitter trend demanding roads in Hyderabad’s Quthbullahpur constituency is gaining traction in just a couple of days. Fed up with the inaction of the officials towards the pathetic condition of the road connecting KPHB to Shahpur, the residents have started trending #kphbgajularamaramroad on twitter.
A resident, Kailash Dobhal, seeking the attention of the Minister of Municipal and Urban Administration K. T. Rama Rao wrote, "The road gets dug for various works and is left in same condition. This road is lifeline for thousands commuting to earn livelihood and medical attention at Usha Mullapudi Cardiac Centre. Request your immediate support in providing permanent fix#KphbGajularamaramRoad (sic)”.
Most of the people complained that in the past four years, the Shapur-KPHB road was in a deplorable condition.
Subba Matta, another resident, said, “We were co-operative all along with lot of patience and will be co-operative even going forward. Earlier we did a silent road show and that is when temporary roads were laid but in no time they dug again (sic)”.
While repeated requests to the local authorities and politicians go unheard, MLA K.P. Vivekanand expressed happiness with the ongoing Gajularamaram Road work taken up by HRDCL. Responding to the twitter trend he wrote, "Work started from Shapurnagar to South Indian shopping Mall (Kphb) . We have laid huge water pipes in this road to solve the critical drinking water in our constituency, so we are doing the road work after completing it. Please cooperate.#kphbGajularamaramroad (sic)".
Even though the MLA was happy, the locals were unhappy as the work is taking longer time than expected. However the trend did not stop and users continued to express anger over the vicious cycle of re-digging and relaying roads and demanded that KTR look into it.
