Woman, 2 kids on way to RGI Airport die in mishap

Hyderabad: A woman and her two children, who were driving to RGI Airport to pick up her husband Ganga Rajesham, who was returning home from Qatar, were killed in a major accident on the Rajivrahadari Highway in the early hours of Friday at Shameerpet. 

The driver of the car was also killed. The mishap occurred when their car crashed into a sand truck which had broken down on the main road due to a flat tyre.

Shameerpet Inspector D. Bhaskar Reddy said that the truck driver did not take any precautions to warn of the stalled vehicle in the middle of the road.
