All set for Neet, students should check barred items

WARANGAL: Arrangements for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Neet) held by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday at Warangal have been completed. The exam is scheduled to be held in eight centres across the city and 5,590 aspirants will take the test.
Neet city coordinator S. Uma Rani said that all the required material is in place at the eight centres as per the directions of the NTA.
According to her, 1,020 candidates will sit for the exam at the National Institute of Technology Warangal, 840 at Chaitanya Degree College, 630 at Talla Padmavati College of Pharmacy, 600 at Warangal Public School, 540 at New Science Degree and PG College, 600 at Gurukul the school, 720 at the Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Sciences and 640 at the Alluri Institute of Management.
The examination will be held between 2 pm and 5 pm. Students will be allowed inside the examination hall from 12 noon and gates will close by 1.30 pm.
“No student will be allowed to enter the examination hall if they are late by just a minute. Candidates must carry just their hall ticket, a passport photo in addition to the one on the hall ticket.
“A photo ID card Aadhaar card, voter ID card, passport or driver licence must also be brought. No other material would be allowed inside the hall. Electronic gadgets are prohibited. Girl candidates are instructed not to turn up at the examination hall wearing jewellery,” Ms Uma Rani informed.
The TSRTC is running special buses for candidates and the medical and health department will be providing free medical camps near the centres.
The power department has assured uninterrupted power supply.
