Hyderabad: Neet gates to be shut by 1.30 pm
Over 15.19 lakh candidates are expected take the test.
Hyderabad: The National Testing Agency will not allow students to report for Sunday’s National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( Neet) after the gates close at 1.30 pm.
The exam halls open at 12 noon and the three-hour test for admission to medical colleges begins at 2 pm. The NTA has imposed a strict code, disallowing long sleeves, ornaments and shoes.
Over 15.19 lakh candidates are expected take the test. NTA has put out a series of precautions.
Candidates must compulsorily bring a print copy of the Neet admit card, a passport size photograph, same as uploaded on the application form, valid photo ID proof and a physical disability certificate if applicable.
All candidates will be frisked. Stationery items, printed or any kind of paper other than admit card and ID proof, will not be permitted inside the exam hall.
Geometry/pencil box, calculator, pen, scale, writing pad, pen drives, erasers will not be allowed inside.
Communication devices like mobile phone, bluetooth, earphones, pager, health band etc, are strictly prohibited.
Wrist watches, wallets, handbags, belts, caps, ornaments are barred.
Candidates were advised to wear light clothes with half sleeves. Candidates must note that long sleeves will not be allowed. Aspirants must footwear with low heels and shoes are barred.
