More suicides if TRS is voted to power: Ponnam Prabhakar
The TRS is trying to stifle the voice of the opposition.
Karimnagar: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar on Saturday appealed to the people not to cast their vote for the TRS as it is responsible for the death of 24 Intermediate students. Mr Ponnam was participating in an election campaign for Congress ZPTC and MPTC candidates in Karimnagar Rural mandal.
Addressing the voters, he said, “The TRS government did not bother about the Intermediate students who were committing suicides due to discrepancies in the Inter results. The TRS does not have any right to ask votes”.
Due to the negligence of TRS government 24 Inter students committed suicide. If such a party is voted to power more people will commit suicide in the coming days, he added.
Mr Prabhakar said, “After winning with a majority in the recently held Assembly elections and forming the government for the second time Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and his son K.T. Rama Rao’s behaviour has become reckless. People must remember that there is not a single woman in the Cabinet of Mr Chandrasekhar Rao.”
The TRS is trying to stifle the voice of the opposition by encouraging defections killing democracy. The brother-in-law of K.T. Rama Rao is one of the members in the company Globarena. People must elect the Congress with a huge majority to teach Mr Chandrasekhar Rao and his son Mr Rama Rao a befitting lesson, he said.
