Visakhapatnam: Special trains to clear rush
The special train 08437 and 08438 would have AC chair car, AC III tier coach and four sleeper coaches.
Visakhapatnam: With a view to restore the East Coast section from the scourge of severe cyclonic storm Fani and to clear extra rush of stranded passengers, the Indian Railways has decided to operate special express trains for one trip between Bhubaneswar – Jagdalpur and Junagarh Road - Bhubaneswar on Saturday with existing stoppages and timings provided between the routes.
The special trains 08447 and 08448 would have one AC II-tier coach, one AC III-tier coach, five sleeper class and five general second class coaches, along with three second sitting-cum-luggage coaches and a second class guard brake van with disabled compartment.
The special train 08437 and 08438 would have AC chair car, AC III tier coach and four sleeper coaches.
The Indian Railways also decided to run three special trains towards MGR Chennai Central, Yesvantpur and Goa from Howrah on Saturday.
The special trains will run in the original path, stoppages and scheduled timings of Howrah-Yesvantpur Express, Howrah-Vasco-da-Gama Amaravati Express and Howrah-Chennai mail.
