CHENNAI: In a major reshuffle of IAS officers, the state government on Monday posted D.Karthickeyan as the new Commissioner of Greater Chennai Corporation. He succeeds B. Chandra Mohan who has been posted as Revenue secretary, a post that is now additionally held by Information and Tamil development Secretary, R. Venkatesan. Karthickeyan, who was hitherto Commissioner of Archaeology, assumed office at the Ripon Buildings.

The State government also transferred Dindigul Collector T. N. Hariharan and posted him as Coimbatore Collector replacing Archana Patnaik. Director of Sericulture V Santha will be the new Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Corporation for Developnent of Women. District revenue officer B. Baskaran will be General Manager of Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation.
