Chandrababu Naidu to shift to temporary secretariat by August-end
Temporary Secretariat to become fully functional by the end of this August month.
AMARAVATI: Temporary Secretariat to become fully functional by the end of this August month after shifting of AP CM, N. Chandrababu Naidu office.
The shifting of the government departments to the Temporary Secretariat government complex at Velagapudi in Amaravati capital region restarted on Thursday.
The municipal administration, home affairs, public enterprise, industry, energy, BC welfare, agriculture and other departments will shift to Temporary Secretariat in a few days. The municipal administration department led by minister for municipal administration and CRDA vice-chairman P. Narayana entered their office premises in the auspicious muhurut on Thursday at Velagapudi.
Similarly, minister for transport, Siddha Raghava Rao also conducted Gruha Pravesam (house warming) with family members conducting special pujas.
Mr. Narayana with officials and employees entered their chamber in the auspicious Muhurut at 9.45 am. The employees gave a warm welcome to the Minister and higher officials. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Narayana thanked the officials, Temporary Secretariat duo contractors, workers and officials for completing the building complex in a short and record time.
AP CM, N. Chandrababu Naidu sought swift shifting of Secretariat from Hyderabad to Velagapudi, several departments have been shifted and Temporary Secretariat would become fully functional after shifting of CM office by the end of this month August.
Minister, Raghava Rao said that he will start working from Velagapudi in the next three/four days and expressed happiness over the shifting of Secretariat to our own state. He said that the government constructing roads in three district namely Krishna, Guntur and Kurnool in view of Krishna Pushkaralu with Rs 400 crore expenditure, APSRTC operating special buses and special Pushkar counters will be started to serve the public in every bus-stand of AP.
Deputy CM, N. China Rajappa inaugurated the office of home affairs department accompanied by AP DGP, N. Sambasiva Rao and other officials. Mr. Rajappa said that the police department making fool proof arrangements for the smooth performance of Krishna Pushkaralu by deploying police force and monitoring through Drones.
