BJP Supports TSRTC Absorption, Countering Misinformation Campaign, says G Kishan

Hyderabad: BJP state president G Kishan Reddy said the party was not against the absorption of TSRTC into the state government. "The BJP was at the forefront of this demand and there is no question of us opposing the move. Any talk that the BJP is against it is a misinformation campaign to discredit the BJP," he told media persons.

Earlier, Kishan Reddy cautioned people not to fall for the claims of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and the BRS who, by indulging in symbolic actions, were pretending that they were doing a lot for the people.

“This government run by the Kalvakuntla family is used to making huge promises, doing something to make it appear that these are being kept but in reality, barely anything is done. The BRS party must come clean on why its government has not kept its promises to the people,” Kishan Reddy said.

Addressing a workshop for party’s communication, social media and spokesperons teams at the BJP headquarters, Kishan Reddy said “the poisonous campaign of lies of the Kalvakuntla family must be confronted and people told the truth. The BJP will fight the KCR government, defeat the BRS and hoist the saffron flag in Telangana.”

Kishan Reddy said the government, under pressure, had finally said it would waive farm loans, but it needed to be carried through fully. “This Chief Minister has cheated people under the guise of Dalit Bandhu, distributed a few houses in some places and is claiming that this has been done everywhere,” he added.
