Hyderabad twin blasts case: Asaduddin Owaisi calls for arrest of others

HYDERABAD: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that the main persons responsible for the twin blasts in August 2007 should also be caught and tried in a court of law. He said the evidence against those convicted was circumstantial and when they appeal in a higher court the case will be a strong one. .
“What justice will the families of the persons who were killed or seriously injured in the blasts get? This is something confusing. We feel the investigating agencies should properly investigate the case and all those who are absconding should be arrested and justice delivered to the victims,” he said. Two persons in the case were acquitted in the case after nine years. “What will happen to the time they lost in the prison?” Mr Owaisi asked.
