MoS Defence Subhash Bhamre meets kin of soldier martyred in Uri attack

Terrorists stormed battalion headquarters of the Army in North Kashmir's Uri town on September 18 in which 19 soldiers were killed.

Nashik: Union Minister of State Subhash Bhamre today met the family of Army jawan Sandeep Thok who was martyred in the terror attack on an Army camp in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir.

The Minister of State for Defence expressed condolences to the family members at their residence in Khadangali village in Sinnar tehsil of the district, an official release said. Bhamre assured them that all possible help from the government will be given to the family members, it said. Sinnar tehsildar accompanied Bhamre during the visit.

Heavily armed terrorists stormed a battalion headquarters of the Army in North Kashmir's Uri town on September 18 in which 19 soldiers were killed. Last week, the Army carried out retaliatory surgical strikes on terrorist launch pads across the Line of Control (LoC).
