Hyderabad: Ramky Enviro Engineers Limited has bagged the project for the establishment of centralised construction and demolition units at Fathullaguda and Jeedimetla.

The state government has issued an order awarding the contract to the lowest bidder.

Construction debris is dumped in the open at many locations, which makes the city look shabby.

Special debris clearance drives are carried out by the GHMC from time to time, however, the problem remains largely unsolved.

The municipal corporation has to spend money on the conduction of such drives through private agencies.

Two units are being established as part of the Swacch Telangana Mission, in accordance with the municipal solid waste rules, to render Telangana a debris-free state.
