Fuel dealers in Telangana call off agitation

The OMCs have agreed to increase commission from November 15.

The chamber also suggested to the GST Council that sale of scrips issued for different duty drawbacks and market promotion should not be subjected to levy of GST.

Hyderabad: Petrol pump dealers called off their strike on Friday after the Centre agreed to increase their commission. TS Petroleum Dealers Association general secretary G. Vinay Kumar, said, “We have postponed the strike with the Centre giving a clear assurance on our demands. The OMCs have agreed to increase commission from November 15. We will wait till December 1. If they fail to implement the assurance, we will meet on December 1 and decide on our  future course of action.
