Hyderabad: Water Board penalises contractor

Hyderabad: The Water Board has penalised the contractor  Indian Hume Pipes Private Limited that is carrying out the Malkajgiri Water Supply Improvement Project for delays. At a review meeting, board managing director M. Dana Kishore expressed ire at the slow progress of testing the pipelines and relaying the roads. He directed the contractor to submit detailed timelines for completing the work. He directed the chief general manager (engineering), project wing to impose penalties on the agency.
