Hyderabad: Cordon and search operation at Pardiwada

Hyderabad: Police carried out a cordon and search operation (CaSO) at Pardiwada, Hussaini Alam, late on Saturday night, DCP, South,  Amber Kishore Jha said. The operation comprising 254 policemen was mounted to maintain law and order in view of the elections, he said.

Police detained 46 vehicles for not having proper documents and nine rowdy-sheeters were taken into custody and their criminal records checked.

Officials also seized 136 liquor bottles which were kept illegally.
