YSRC providing better healthcare to poor: Rajini
Vishakhapatnam: Health minister vidadala rajini emphasised that the state government has started constructing health centres in villages and towns for providing better medical care to poor.
The minister was speaking after inaugurating a Rs 125 lakh hospital in Kapparada, Rs 176.10 lakh Dr. YSR Primary Health Centre in Chandranagar and Rs 5.5 crore worth CHC Hospital in Gopalapatnam.
Rajini was accompanied by mayor Golagani Hari Venkata Kumari and district collector Dr. A. Mallikarjuna.
The minister said so far, 40 urban health centres have been constructed in Visakhapatnam, which have also started functioning. Two additional health centres, apart from PHCs, are being constructed in villages, she stated.
NEDCAP chairman K K. Raju, Visakha Dairy chairman Adari Anand Kumar, ward corporators and several public representatives were present.
