Belling cat: 2 lakh students take toughest exam
The results will be declared in the second week of January.
Bengaluru: This year’s Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission to the IIMs and 100 other top management institutes in the country was held at various centres in the city and across the country on Sunday.
Nearly 1.95 lakh candidates appeared for the test and this year’s pattern was similar to that of last year. The candidates stated that while maths and english sections were easy, data interpretation and logical reasoning were difficult. They also pointed out that certain mathematical symbols were displayed incorrectly.
The exams went off smoothly barring some minor technical computer glitches at some centres. Some students were upset that they were barred from using footwear and wearing sweaters as it was cold. The results will be declared in the second week of January.
