Can contest job data: Telangana Joint Action Committee
Prof Kodandaram launched an all-out attack on the Telangana Rashtra Samiti government.
HYDERABAD: Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman Prof Kodandaram launched an all-out attack on the Telangana Rashtra Samiti government in his speech towards the end of the Koluvulakai Kotlata held on Monday. The government’s first job on assuming power should have been filling government job vacancies. “Did we ask for your chairs or any valuable things? We just asked about filling job vacancies and release of a job calendar,” he said.
TJAC gave figures showing about 2 lakh to 3 lakh vacancies. We are ready to prove government’s figures on job vacancies are not correct. No Group-1 notification was issued. Only police jobs are being filled,” he alleged. Commenting on the government's statement that nearly 2 lakh youth in the private sector got jobs in the last three years, the TJAC chief demanded that the government come out with a white paper showing how many Telangana natives got the jobs.
Prof. Kodandaram said that Telangana was not achieved for the welfare of one family or family rule. The separate state is for welfare of people of all sections.
The TJAC chairman called upon unemployed youth not to resort to extreme steps and end their lives. The crowd cheered and shouted “KCR down down” during Prof Kodandarams’s speech.
