Visakhapatnam: Several trains cancelled for safety works

All other trains will run as per schedule/convenience, according to a press release issued by the Railways.

In the return direction, the train No. 08568 Kollam-Visakhapatnam will leave Kollam on Mondays and Fridays at 5.45 am and reach Vizag on Tuesday and Thursday at 12.30 am from Dec. 4, 2017 to January 8, 2018 (11 trips). (Representational Image)

Visakhapatnam: Several trains have been cancelled due to safety-related modernisation work (non-interlocking) at Simhachalam North railway station from December 6 to 13. Train No. 22874 Visakhapatnam-Digha leaving Visakhap-atnam on December 7 and Train No. 22873 Digha-Visakhapatnam leaving on December 8 are cancelled. Train No. 20816 Visakhapatnam-Tata Nagar Weekly Express leaving Visakhapatnam on December 10 and Train No. 20815 Tata Nagar-Visakhapatnam Weekly Express on December 11 are cancelled. Train No. 22819/22820 Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam-Bhubaneswar Intercity Express is also cancelled from December 6 to 13. Train No. 22809 Visakhapatnam-Paradeep Express leaving Visakhapatnam on December 10, Train No. 22810 Paradeep-Visakhapatnam Express leaving Paradeep on December 13 are cancelled.

Train No. 67294 Visakhapatnam-Palasa Passenger, Train No. 67293 Palasa-Visakhapatnam Passenger, Train No. 58506/58505 Visakhapatnam-Gunupur-Visakhapatnam, Train No. 58528 / 58527 Visakha-patnam-Raipur-Visakhapa-tnam, Train No. 58504 Visakhapatnam-Rayagada Passenger will be cancelled from December 6 to 12.

Train No. 58503 Rayagada-Visakhapatanam Passenger leaving Rayagada from December 7 to 13 is cancelled. All other trains will run as per schedule/convenience, according to a press release issued by the Railways. 

Train services extended
Considering the rush of tourists and good patronisation of the partially restored train services 58501/ 58502 between Visakhapatnam-Chimidipalli Railways decided to extend the services from December 5 to 13.
