Bring down corrupt TD government, says BJP

He commenced the house-to-house campaign at Guntur on Tuesday and interacted with the masses.

VIJAYAWADA: AP BJP president, Kanna Lakshminarayana, alleged that the Telugu Desam (TD) was misleading the public about the allocation of funds to the State by the BJP-led Union government and hence, the BJP cadres were campaigning about the sanction of funds by the BJP for the past four years to the State through the “Intintiki” programme. He commenced the house-to-house campaign at Guntur on Tuesday and interacted with the masses.

Mr Lakshminarayana said that the special category status was not possible under any circumstances but the Congress, TD, YSRC and other political parties were misleading the Andhra public about SCS. He alleged that the TD government had turned into a “corrupt” government due to huge corruption and illegalities of TD leaders, including ministers and legislators, and asked the public to bring down the corrupt TD government from power with their vote power.

He said that the BJP-led Union government had sanctioned 90 per cent of funds for the Polavaram Project and was ready to pay the total cost of the project. He alleged that the TD government had diverted the funds sanctioned by the Union government to develop AP state to other causes and CM Mr Naidu was trying to throw mud on the BJP government.

Mr Lakshminarayana said the BJP-led Union government had implemented 125 social welfare schemes for the welfare of the public in the country after assuming power at the Centre He said the Union government had allocated maximum funds for AP for the construction of houses and toilets under different schemes. He said the people would give the fitting reply to the TD in the coming elections.

BJP leaders M. Sitamahalakshmi, D. Rammohan Rao, K. Venkata Prasad, K. Satyanarayana, A. Ranga and others participated.

Meanwhile, Union minister for civil aviation Suresh Prabhu claimed that BJP led Union government sanctioned funds to new capital Amaravati and further cooperated largely for the development of residuary AP State. 

BJP AP published a book about questions posed to AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Mr Suresh released the book on Mr Naidu. He started BJP Vijayawada parliamentary convener Kilaru Dileep Kumar office at Patamata of Vijayawada city on Tuesday. He stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi cooperated with the AP government.
