VIJAYAWADA: AP minister for IT and panchayat raj, Mr N. Lokesh, claimed that chances were bright for Praja Kutami to emerge as the winner in the Telangana Assembly elections and form the government. He stated that Telangana IT minister K. Taraka Rama Rao could campaign in AP without any hesitation and they would not object to it. He alleged that the TRS had totally failed to fulfil its election promises. Addressing a press at Amaravati on Tuesday, he predicted that results of the Telangana State elections would be positive for the people’s front on December 11.

Mr Lokesh said that Telangana caretaker Chief Minister, Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao, had promised to give water tap connections to every house and stated that he would not ask for votes from the public if he failed to provide the taps. He alleged that the TRS government had totally failed to provide water taps and drinking water and hence, the TRS had no right to  ask for votes. He said that the TRS had shown a movie to the public about making Hyderabad a Dallas and the construction of skyways and flyovers for the ease of traffic, but in vain. He claimed that AP CM, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, had developed Hyderabad as the CM of united AP but there was no further development of Hyderabad by the TRS government.

Mr Lokesh demanded that the Telangana minister for IT, Mr K.T. Rama Rao, reveal the names of the companies which had come to Telangana in the past four years and claimed that AP had brought Asian paints, Kia Motors, Hero, Foxconn and other prestigious companies due to the efforts of Mr Naidu. He claimed that Mr Naidu had not created any hurdles in the development of Telangana and challenged the TRS leaders to reveal the evidence if they had any.
