“The concept behind the 3D paintings was first pitched by a member of the station consultative committee which consists of several prominent persons in Thrissur including businessmen and deputy mayor. The total cost is '2 lakh, and an art house in Tamil Nadu named Mayapuri is the sponsor,” station director K. M. Basha said.
The station had already several paintings on its entrance, ticket counter area, waiting rooms and the 350-metre long wall on the southern side of the first platform.
