Visakhapatnam: After meeting an Indian delegation headed by Indian Consul General Dr Anupam Ray, Kansas Governor Sam Brownback said in a tweet that the “hateful actions” of one man does not define the USA. The delegation comprised Indian-Americans of Kansas and representatives of the Hindu-American Foundation.

Mr Brownback said Kansas always accepted Indians. He said that the Olathe bar shooting, in which Telugu techie Srinivas Kuchibhotla has lost his life, would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of law.

The Indian delegation sought Mr Brownback’s intervention. Kansas Lieutenant Governor Dr Jeff Colyer tweeted that the hateful actions of one man would not divide them.

Dr Ray met Mr Ian Grillot, who was injured while trying to save Kuchibhotla.
