Comlaint filed against Hyderabad editor
According to the police, the complaint was received from K. Karuna Sagar, an advocate and official spokesperson of BJP.
Hyderabad: A complaint was lodged at Saidabad police station against the MD and Editor of Andhra Jyothi newspaper for carrying defamatory articles against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said the police, adding that no case was registered yet.
According to the police, the complaint was received from K. Karuna Sagar, an advocate and official spokesperson of BJP. “The Telugu daily newspaper Andhra Jyothi has carried articles that demean the stature of our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on April 1 which are false, concocted and far from facts and all the allegations levelled against him are baseless” he said in the petition filed at Saidabad police station.
“No case has been booked yet. We will conduct a legal enquiry and take a legal opinion before taking any action,” said the police inspector of Saidabad, K. Sattaiah.
