Bandi Sanjay's wife slams his illegal arrest

WARANGAL: The midnight arrest by the police and dragging the name of BJP state chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar into the SSC Hindi question paper leak will not deter us, averred his wife Bandi Aparna.

Accompanied by their sons, her brother-in-law Bandi Shravan, advocate B. Satyanarayana and BJP general secretary B. Praveen Rao, Aparna met Sanjay in Karimnagar jail on Thursday.

Sanjay was housed in the Godavari barracks and allotted him the number 7,917.

She broke down on seeing her husband, who was taken away by the police from her mother’s house in Karimnagar. She inquired about his health as Sanjay was suffering from heart-related complications.

Speaking to mediapersons outside the jail, Aparna slammed the police officials who behaved rudely and handling Sanjay in a rough manner, causing him injury. She said that Sanjay has vowed to question and fight the atrocities and corrupt administration of the BRS government.

Sanjay urged all party leaders and activists to make a huge success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ensuing meeting, she said.
