L&T writes 5th letter, seeks Rs 4.85 crore repayment from Telangana government
L&T said its demand for reimbursement was in line with the concession agreement.

Hyderabad: L&T, the concessionaire of Hyderabad Metro Rail Project, has written a fifth letter demanding that the state government reimburse Rs 4.85 crore that it spent towards compensation for some acquired properties. In the letter, written on July 19, L&T said its demand for reimbursement was in line with the concession agreement. L&T said it had acquired properties at Chilkalguda, Begumpet, Alugaddabhavi, Oliphanta bridge and Malakpet for the Metro Rail Project, and paid compensation on behalf of the state government.
