Bengaluru: It's raining projects for Mandya, Ramanagara, Hassan and Mysuru districts which are strongholds of the JD(S)  going by the state budget. This is enough indication that an attempt is being made by the ruling JD(S) to woo people of those four districts ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

The opposition BJP has sarcastically termed the budget as a 'Hassan-Holenarasipura' budget indirectly attacking JD(S) supremo H.D. Deve Gowda and PWD Minister H.D. Revanna as these are their constituencies. A medical college, a super-speciality hospital, film university and the construction of an outer ring road are some of the projects that have been allotted to these four districts.
