Budget 2019: TD, Left, Congress not happy

Kadapa: Leaders of all the political parties in Kadapa district are not happy with the Budget presented in the Parliament by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman on Friday.
TD district president R. Srinvasa Reddy said that there was nothing new in the Budget. He said there was no concrete promise made with regard to improving the conditions in AP after the bifurcation of the state.
The hike in fuel prices will be a burden on the common man, he added.
Rayalaseema Communist Party president Ravishankar Reddy said the Budget was disappointing as there was no mention of Kadapa Steel Plant. “The BJP-led government has neglected Rayalaseema intentionally,” he said.

CPM state leader G. Chandrasekhar said the Budget sent signals on the likelihood of privatisation of the education and medical sectors. There was no welfare scheme announced for farmers, he added.
