Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao likely to skip flagging off Haj pilgrims

Since the CM has come to power, he has visited the Haj House twice to send off the pilgrims.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to skip the flagging off tradition of a convoy of Haj pilgrims.  As a practice, a Chief Minister visits the Haj House at Nampally and flags of a convoy of pilgrims bound for Saudi Arabia.

According to the sources, Mr Rao is in Delhi to meet important leaders, including the Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi on pending issues of the State. Similarly, he will be meeting other leaders and is likely to camp for a couple of days there. On return, he will be busy with some other assignments, it is learnt. 

Since the CM has come to power, he has visited the Haj House twice to send off the pilgrims. Sources said that the KCR is not visiting the Haj House as he feels that heavy security arrangements have to be made for him which could inconvenience Haj pilgrims and their families.
