11 IPS officers transferred in Andhra Pradesh
Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government has transferred 11 senior IPS officers, including the commissioner of police of Visakhapatnam city.
According to the government order, Dr A. Ravi Shankar, who is currently serving as the additional director general of vigilance and enforcement and ex-officio principal secretary to government, has been transferred as the commissioner of police of Visakhapatnam city. He will replace Dr C.M. Trivikrama Varma, who has been transferred as the inspector general of police, special protection force.
Kumar Vishwajeet, who is currently serving as the additional DGP of railways, has been transferred as the additional director general of vigilance and enforcement and also as ex-officio principal secretary to government.
Siddarth Kaushal, who is currently serving as the SP of Octopus, has been transferred as the SP of YSR district. He will replace K.K.N. Anburajan, who has been transferred as the SP of Anantapur district.
K. Srinivasa Rao, who is currently serving as the DCP (law and order) of Visakhapatnam city, has been transferred as the SP of Greyhounds. He will replace Vasana Vidhya Sagar Naidu, who has been transferred as the SP of ACB.
Boddepalli Krishna Rao, who is currently serving as the SP of ACB, has been transferred as the SP of Annamayya district. He will replace R. Gangadhar Rao, who has been transferred as the commandant of the 14th battalion in Anantapur.
R. Gangadhar Rao has been replaced by P. Jagadeesh, who is the current SP of East Godavari district.
Adnan Nayeem Asmi, who is currently serving as the group commander of Greyhounds, has been transferred as the SP of Anti-Corruption Bureau.
