From unlimited registrations from a single mobile number and e-mail ID we now want to restrict it to only two registrations.
Tirupati: “Keeping in view the misuse of arjitha seva tickets by some miscreants, we want to bring some amendments which will come into force by next month,” said TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal.
While addressing the media at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday, he said some changes would be brought on the online sale of arjitha seva tickets.
“From unlimited registrations from a single mobile number and e-mail ID we now want to restrict it to only two registrations. Some pilgrims suggested that we re-introduce photo upload also to avoid manipulation, which will be looked into,” he said.
Speaking about publications, the TTD EO said, “Moving a step ahead, TTD will now deliver its 2019 diaries and calendars booked online.”
Mr Singhal also said the online quota of booking of tickets has also been introduced in the Padmavathi temple at Tiruchanoor and devotees could register three months prior till two days before based on the availability of the tickets.
