New Idols Arrive for Malleswara Swamy Temple

Vijayawada: Kanaka Durga temple executive officer D. Bhramaramba and Stapathi Parameswarappa inspected the works of Malleswara Swamy's new temple and inquired about the status of the works and other details on Friday.

As part of the construction of the Shiva temple, 23 new idols arrived, which Bhramaramba inspected thoroughly. She explained that these are 13 idols of various Hindu deities, including Tripurantaka Murthy, Dakshina Murthy, Gajasamhara Murthy, Bhikshatana Murthy, Harihara Murthy, Ardhanarishwara Murthy, Vrishabaruda Murthy, Veerabhadra Swamy, Chaturmukha Brahma, Chandra Shekhara Murthy, Subrahmanyeshwara Swamy, Lingodbhava Murthy, and Ganapati Swamy.

She said that the Ashtadikpalakas (8 idols) and the four-faced Brahma are being installed under the Durga Malleswara temple development program. She later instructed the engineering officials and contractor to complete the construction work as soon as possible.
