Rs 3 crore seized from Congress worker's home

The investigation is on and the police are interrogating the residents of the house.

Warangal: The police on Wednesday night seized more than Rs 3 crore in cash from a house that belongs to Congress worker, Amrutha Rao, in Siddarthnagar in Kazipet. 

Police said lists of people’s names and places from Wardhannapet were found inside the house drawing suspicion that the money might belong TJS candidate from Wardhannapet, P. Devaiah. Police said the cash was meant for distribution in the constituency in view of the upcoming elections on Friday. The investigation is on and the police are interrogating the residents of the house.
