MK Stalin calls Edappadi K Palaniswami, asks him to end transport strike
DMK leaders said though Palaniswami gave a patient hearing to Stalin, he did not hand out any assurance to the Opposition leader.

Chennai: With the indefinite strike by transport employees entering the third day, leader of Opposition M. K. Stalin on Saturday spoke to Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami and asked him to end the strike to ensure that people are not put to inconvenience.
In a press release, the DMK said Stalin, during the telephonic conversation, asked Palaniswami to end the strike by transport union employees through talks and alleviate sufferings of the common man. DMK leaders said though Palaniswami gave a patient hearing to Stalin, he did not hand out any assurance to the Opposition leader.
