Telangana: Police must keep pace with tech, says top cop
Joint police commissioner said the police should polish their skills and update themselves with the latest technical information.
Hyderabad: Addressing at a seminar ‘Investigation Challenges’ in the city on Tuesday, Cyberabad police commissioner Sandeep Shandilya said all cops should be aware of challenges involved in investigations. Speaking on issues related to advanced analysis using technology and crime investigation challenges, he said as part of the modern policing it is important for police to have sound knowledge and awareness of law and technology.

Cyberabad DCP Janaki Sharmila said that cyber crimes had increased rapidly. Top priorities of investigating officers should be protecting the public, safeguard passengers travelling in cabs and investigate cases efficiently.
